Do you have a professional studio or do you only photograph on location?

Yes, Photonuvo has a professional studio in the 1888 Building located in downtown Ellensburg. Business people, families, newborns, children, expectant mothers, pets, and a part of every senior session can be photographed in the comfort of our studio. Our studio allows us to have additional creative control and artistic flexibility. We can add a fashion element to a senior session or create any look, mood, or set we are able to envision. However, we also love photographing on location and these sessions are also a big part of our business.

When do I pay my session fee and what does this cover?

A credit card number is required to book your session. Your credit card will be charged on your session date unless you prefer another form of payment at that time. The session fee covers the time and expertise of your photographer, retouching and editing, stylist services, and your viewing appointment.

What payment methods to you accept? 

We accept cash, checks, visa, and mastercard.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my session?

We understand that you can’t always plan for the unexpected. If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule within 5 days prior to your session, a $50 fee will be charged to your credit card. This fee will be converted to a print credit when used within 45 days of your originally scheduled session.  We will be happy to reschedule your session as soon as conveniently possible. Because our studio is open by appointment only, we know you will understand this policy.

When do I get to see the images from my session and place my order?

Your images will be ready to view one week after your session. Please allow a full hour and a half for this presentation. Your portraits will be viewed “life size” in our projection room allowing you to see each individual expression clearly. We will show you exactly how your wall portraits will appear when enlarged to the appropriate size.

During the presentation, you will select your favorite images and place your order. Don’t worry, our knowledgeable sales staff will help guide you through this process. This is always a fun and exciting experience! Make sure all decision makers are present for this appointment.

When is payment due for my order?

Full payment is due when you view and order your images. Payment plan options are available with purchases of $365 or more and 8.3% sales tax is added to all sales. Order cancellations or changes are not accepted after an order has been placed. Due to the unique nature of custom portraiture, all sales are final.

How long will it take to get my order?

Your portraits will be ready for pickup 3 weeks after your order is placed and paid in full. Metal prints and gallery wraps can take up to 5 or 6 weeks. These durations allow us the time needed to provide you with the quality you expect from a custom photography studio.  For added convenience, we can ship small print orders directly to your home. There will be a small shipping and handling fee for this service.  Larger prints must be picked up at the studio.

How long will you keep my image files?

Non-ordered images will be removed from our system following your ordering appointment. We do not archive files which are not ordered. All ordered images are archived for a period of one year.

Does Photonuvo supply an image for the yearbook?

Yes, we provide digital images for your purchased pictures. These are high resolution files suitable for you to submit as yearbook photos. Digital yearbook images will only be released when at least 50% of the order is paid. However, some schools still require a printed picture. Please keep your yearbook deadline in mind when booking your senior picture appointment and allow ample time to make the deadline. Last minute yearbook requests will be handled with a $25 service fee.
