Jocelyn’s senior picture posing made her session very fun. The camera loved this girl!

Senior picture posing can be challenging. The goal is to strike a balance between appearing natural and creating images that inspire interest. Because every client is unique, there is no single right pose. The best approach is often a process of discovery. Jocelyn was very fun to shoot with because she has a wonderful ability to move through poses! She tried different movements and expressions until the image would fall into place. Her confidence allowed her to relax and that definitely shone through in her pictures! She brought her own sense of style and adventurous spirit. Jocelyn looked poised and fantastic, even while balancing on slippery rocks in the middle of a stream!

We began her session by capturing some dramatic images in the studio with lights, a fan, and all her gorgeous hair. But, it was also a beautiful day for location, so we headed out to a local park. It was a lovely day with just a sprinkle of rain to make a fantastic sky. One of our favorite images was her standing in the tall summer grass with a bright red umbrella.
