I’m real excited to share some images that I did for my friends new business.  Jeanette Elliot is an amazing woman, athlete and she loves animals!  Here’s an interview I did with Jeanette for her new Dog Adventures business .

I love your idea of offering doggie adventures to the community.  How did you get started?

I have always loved trail running with my dogs since I was in high school. I decided to offer my service to other dog owners.  I believe that a tired dog has a happy owner and I know how to bring home a happy, tired dog.  It is a real joy to watch dogs playing and having fun together.

What kind of adventures do you offer dogs?

Most dogs love to play, run and explore with other dogs.  I pick up small groups of dogs at their homes and hike, run, play and swim along trails and at the off leash dog park.  A bubble bath is provided if they get dirty and I send a picture and text or e-mail to each owner of their dogs adventure when I bring them home. Each adventure last approx. 3 hours.   We have small and large dog collectives and carefully screen all dogs to make sure they are compatible in size and activity level.

What are your qualifications and experience?

I am certified in American Red Cross pet first aid/ CPR.  I am a member of Pet Sitters International and have owned and trail run active dogs that require lots of exercise for over 25 years.

If someone was interested in your services, what should they do first?

I have a few opening in my small and large dog collectives for dogs that can be off leash and have good recall command.  I can be contacted by e-mail at elliottjl@hotmail.com.  I like to set up a free consultation visit to meet the owner and dog and take the dog out on a one on one to see how compatible they will be with the canine collective. Then if all that goes well we figure out the details, what days and where to pick up/ drop off.  Dogs must be fixed and be current on all shots and I do recommend tick treatment during tick season.

Here’s some images that we took of her and her best friend Gracie.  We also got some cute images of Gracie’s friend Lucy.  So cute!
