The School House photo shoot was amazing. We got access to the old Badger Pocket school house that is currently up for sale. The building is so cool. It has several large school rooms, a cafeteria and a full size gym with old wooden bleachers. After a scouting trip to the school, I planned which rooms we were going to use and created small “set” with old furniture, lockers, chalk boards etc. This model shoot was March 1st so it was still quite cold outside and we only had heat in one room so we had to keep the models warm until it was their time to be photographed. We always bring blankets and lots of food for our models so it’s like a party hanging out waiting for their turn. I always photograph the models individually and then as a group. This group of girls was particularly fun because all the girls were good friends from Ellensburg so they were super comfortable with each other. Also a couple of the moms came to watch the shoot and were extremely helpful in organizing the clothes and hauling equipment. The clothes are from TjMax in Yakima and as always hair and makeup from Gaylyn’s Salon. Love these guys! Thank you to Sinden Harum at Coldwell Banker.
